Funded by the Culture Corps Grant (sponsored by International Students
and Scholars Office and the Office of the Vice President for Student

student travel consultants for the 2009-10 academic year. They are:
Ashlee Hespen – Public Service and Administration in Agriculture
Tiara Sandoval – Animal Sciences
Angela Danielle Upah – Dietetics

Scholarships for Studying Abroad
The CALS Study Abroad Office distributes support for study abroad participation
through 7 scholarships for undergraduates. Scholarships are based on
many factors but there is enough variety within those scholarships to
award money to every student who applies. For a list of scholarships
and eligibility requirements, please see www.agstudyabroad.iastate.edu/funding.htm.
In addition, CALS offers a passport reimbursement program for the first
50 first-time travelers who apply for study abroad programs. Students
can also receive scholarship support for study abroad through many CALS
departments and through the university Study Abroad Center. We don’t
want money to be the reason a student does not study abroad!
